Directions

How to Reach the Armon Hanatziv Promenade?

From the entrance to Jerusalem to the Armon Hanatziv Promenade:

After passing the Gesher HaMeitarim (Bridge of Strings) at the entrance to the city, continue straight to Zalman Shazar Street. On your right you will see the large, prominent buildings of Binyanei HaUma (The International Convention Center). The road veers to the right; continue with it to Ben Zvi Blvd. Pass two traffic lights, and at the third, when you see the Wolfson Towers on your left, turn left. After a short ascent, you will reach an additional traffic light, where you should turn right at a flashing yellow signal for pedestrians onto Binyamin Metudela Street. Drive the length of the road until you reach the next traffic light, where you will turn left onto Azza Street. Continue driving on Azza Street. Before the next intersection with a traffic light, you will pass the Prime Minister’s Residence on your right, and continue towards the “Tzarfat”(Paris) traffic circle (roundabout), with the Kings Hotel on your left. Turn right at this intersection at a flashing yellow signal by the pedestrian crossing onto Keren Hayesod Street. Continue down this street (south) passing the next four traffic lights. At the fifth traffic light, turn left towards the Khan Theater and the Old Jerusalem Train Station. The road veers to the right immediately following the traffic light and leads you to a traffic circle (roundabout) where one can only continue to the left, facing east until one reaches Derech Hebron Street where you make a right at the traffic light. Drive south on Derech Hebron until the seventh traffic light- the Holandia Intersection (on your left you will see a prominent building 5 floors high called “Beit HaUmot”) where you turn left onto Daniel Yanovsky Street. Continue driving straight on this street (east). After two traffic lights the road winds to the right, which is where you should turn left into the parking lot of the Haas Promenade. You have reached your destination! (The Armon Hanatziv Promenade is made up of three promenades, one being Haas.)

From the entrance to Jerusalem via Route 1 to Armon Hanatziv:

Upon the ascent to Jerusalem, after passing Mevaseret Zion and the Motza curve, exit at the interchange that leads to Route 9, following the signs to Maaleh Adumim/Mount Scopus. Continue on the road via the Arazim Tunnels, paying attention to signs that direct you in the direction of Giva’at HaTzarfatit. At the Giva’at HaTzarfatit intersection, turn right. At the next intersection which is near the Giva’at HaTzarfatit bridge, where the Light Rail also passes, continue straight towards the Old City with the road that is recognized as Route 1 but is called Derech Haim Bar Lev. Travel south on this road, staying in the right lane which will lead you to the Tzahal Tunnel. Entering the tunnel will lead you beneath the corner of the Old City. Continue straight with the road through all traffic lights, while passing around the Old City which will be on your left.  On your right you will see the Sultan’s Pool and at the traffic light at the end of the descent you will only be able to continue straight towards the Mount Zion Hotel, passing the Jerusalem Cinematheque on your left. At the next traffic light, continue straight and you will find yourself on Derech Hebron Street.
Drive south on Derech Hebron until the seventh traffic light which is the Holandia Intersection (on your left you will see a prominent building 5 floors high called “Beit HaUmot”) where you turn left onto Daniel Yanovsky Street. Continue driving straight on this street (east). After two traffic lights the road winds to the right, which is where you should turn left into the parking lot of the Haas Promenade. You have reached your destination! (The Armon Hanatziv Promenade is made up of three promenades, one being Haas.)

From the Gilo Intersection to the Armon Hanatziv Promenade:

From the Gilo Intersection (at the exit of Kvish HaMinharot- the Tunnel Road) in southern Jerusalem, turn right (east) following the signs that show you are in the direction of Rachel’s Tomb. At the next light, turn left (north) to Derech Hebron Street towards the Old City. One you reach and pass under a large pedestrian bridge, count the intersections and at the third intersection after the bridge you will see ‘Beit HaUmot” (Holandia Building) on your right. Turn right at this traffic light to Daniel Yanovsky Street. Continue driving straight on this street (east). After two traffic lights the road winds to the right, which is where you should turn left into the parking lot of the Haas Promenade. You have reached your destination! (The Armon Hanatziv Promenade is made up of three promenades, one being Haas.)
