Doron Ben-Ami

2007 - 2017

Dr. Doron Ben-Ami, of the Institute of Archaeology of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, specialized in the Iron Age and conducted research on Hazor and the Galil of the 10th century B.C.E.  He published his findings following his lengthy participation in excavations in the city of Hazor in northern Israel led by Professor Amnon Ben-Tor. Since 2007, he has led the excavation in the Givati Parking Lot in the City of David - the largest, most comprehensive excavation in Jerusalem today, which has revealed important findings that are helping us understand the history of the city.

Following is the location of Doron Ben - Ami's dig on the map
